Description

On World Environment Day, UN Environment brings together environmental leaders, storytellers and global citizens to explore creative new messages and mediums to inspire a deeper engagement with nature. Hosted by Canada, the theme of this year’s World Environment Day is 'Connecting People to Nature.'

Artists and innovators from around the world will share their ideas and expertise and engage the audience as agents of change. The discussion will be moderated by renowned adventurer and environmental storyteller, David de Rothschild.

The program will run from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, and will be followed by a reception featuring interactive experiences. This is an exclusive event for environmental communicators and the international community.

World Environment Day is the United Nations' flagship day to inspire global awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since it was established in 1974, it is celebrated each year by millions of people in over 100 countries.
